I'm ill again.  lol.  Another cold.  It's just one thing after another at the moment.  Really irritating.  I don't remember getting ill at all during the entire pandemic.  Now I'm ill every bloody 5 minutes.  But i'm determined to power through it this time because it's way too close to Christmas to faff about and delay and all that sorta stuff

I reckon I can probably squeeze out a few more episodes before winding down for the holidays.  I know it's only the 1st today but this episode won't go out publicly until the 12th so... technically only need to make one more and that's pre-Christmas uploads sorted

In other news... anyone play the Yakuza games?  I only just realised that the bloke that's doing the English dub for Kiryu in Infinite Wealth (and possibly Gaiden?) is also a YouTuber.  I feel bad for him because there's been some backlash to his performance in some clips that he put out.  But also - He's kinda handled it like a YouTuber.  lol.  Blocking everyone and having a strop.  It's an iconic role... so there's always gonna be critics.  Butt... the voice is a bit jarring to be fair.  Considering previous English dubs gave him a ridiculously deep voice.  And now he sounds a little bit... goober-ish.  lol

Honestly tho - I don't wanna be a dick about it.  I don't like commenting on VA performances and stuff like that.  Although the way he's handled it pisses me off to be fair.  It's not a good look and I wouldn't be surprised if Sega decides to NEVER EVER hire YouTubers for Voice Acting again.  So that's great.   It's like this whole 'fashion magazines are starting to use AI models' thing.  I don't agree with it.  I think it's sad that it's probably going to become industry standard very quickly.  But... it doesn't surprise me.  Because a large number of influencers have their heads firmly shoved up their own arses
