Early Access - Lord of the Clans Ep. 7

Hi folks,

Here's the next one, nice and early

I think we're about a third of the way into the book now.  Just getting into Act 2 / the 'Initiation' part of the Hero's Journey.  He's 'departed' the life he knew.  Now he shall do tasks and face ordeals as he is 'initiated' into the real world.  And then he shall 'Return' at the end but he'll be a changed man or something.

Ending of Dragonflight was a bit weird, eh?  I mean - I don't need to add my voice to the chorus of Content Creators that shit all over the game all the time but... the 'Avengers: Endgame' of it all was a bit too on the nose.  And not really earned either.  I feel like that's the real problem

It's the kind of decision an Executive Suit would make.  "Just do the thing from Avengers Endgame.  People loved that".  (Whilst completely failing to understand how they built towards that moment over the course of 23 films and 11 years).  And it's not the first time, in recent history, that WoW has failed to emulate the Infinity Saga.  For example:  The Sigils.  Why take the time to build those McGuffins up?  Just pull them out of thin air at the last minute.  That'll work!

But hey - at least Fyrakk didn't die saying something along the lines of "I was... only... trying to stop... what is to come..."

Anywho - Rant over, I guess.  I apologise - Think I just needed to get that out of my system lol.  Thanks, as always, for your support.  Tis very much appreciated.  And I'll see ya in the next Early Access post
