Early Access - Chapter Three

Hey peeps,
Here's the next video. Just the one chapter this time but it's a fairly 'hefty' one. Been a while since I got to do a Brain Trust video. Best part of the Second War - So many brain trusts.
I've written the script for the next one as well. Chapter 4 would've only ended up being about 7 mins long but Chapter 5 is a beast. So there may be a bit of a delay on Early Access for that one. I've got two weeks before its 'out' for Subscribers so I'm not worried about that but yeah - it might not be ready by next Tuesday (for Early Access).
Especially since I'm not actually going to have an opportunity to record the audio for it until possibly Friday or Saturday. Also... because it's such a beast of a video... I think I may take the week between Christmas and New Years off. T'is that time of year where you're off visiting family and shiz, which can be a bit disruptive so it's probably for the best if I just take a break.
In other news - Probably shouldn't really talk about this because it's not set in stone... but I'm excited so whatevs. Got randomly contacted by Taliesin on Sunday via DM. The guys mentioned in the past that he and Evitel are considering hiring an editor. Initially, I assumed he was probably contacting a number of different peeps to see what kinda rates of pay they get and stuff. But about halfway through the conversation I kinda realised I could maybe throw my hat into the ring, so to speak. So I did. And basically... the last message I got from him outright said "If and when we decide to get an editor... you're the guy".
So that's cool! lol. Bit of an ego boost. Hiru also gave me a huge compliment over the weekend in regards to my editing skillz. So... feeling pretty good at the moment. May need to spend a bit of time staring in the mirror and calling myself a dickhead or something. Just to keep myself grounded in reality. Never been 'headhunted' before though. Feels weird.
Just to clarify though - Editing for T&E would very much be in addition to the work I do for Hiru. Loyalty is important, you know?
What else is there...? Oh... FFXIV Endwalker Early Access. That started, I guess. I've basically managed to play a whopping 2 hours of it since Friday. And not even the new content. Despite having been playing it for the past 2+ years - My main is basically at the end of 5.3. So I've still got quite a few quests and two duties left to do before I can jump into the new stuff. Which is why it's so annoying that the queues are so bloody big. And will probably continue to be big for at least the rest of this week. (Cos... keep in mind... this was Early Access. The Expansion officially launches today for those who didn't pre-order).
Hopefully they manage to procure new servers soon. This is not uncommon for FFXIV. They will sort it out, I'm sure.
