G'morning...
For some strange reason; I spent hours trying to recreate the original coded messages for this video. But the thing is... I'm pretty sure it's actually impossible to do it.
So I just made up my own code instead. lol. I'm not even joking - Unless I had a brain fart whilst doing it - in my version... the numbers at the top tell you which letter of which line becomes the First letter of the alphabet and that applies to the first sentence. And then you just move your alphabet along one (so if N was A, then O becomes A for the second sentence, P becomes A for the third... etc).
Why, you may be asking? Why on earth did you spend so much time doing something that literally no one will notice unless you tell them, Buttress... you god damned sonofabitch?!
I don't know! I think I need to start seeing a therapist. I couldn't bloody stop despite my brain saying "Stop doing this! No one needs this!"
In other news - Tried playing a whole bunch of different games this week. And basically didn't really like any of them. lol. First, I had been keeping an eye on this one called Gamedec. And that came out on the 16th. It's not bad per se. It's just nothing special.
Then I decided to give Disco Elysium another try. I tried it way back when it first came out (before they'd done the final cut with the added voice acting). And I've gotta be honest - I find the writing really pretentious. You know when you meet someone that uses really big words and tricks everyone into thinking they're really smart... but they're actually speaking utter nonsense. Well that's how I feel about Disco Elysium. Sorry to anyone that really likes that game but... I do not.
What else? Oh yeah - Tales of Arise. Got a bit concerned at first - I really don't like it when games bombard you with exposition right off the bat, before you've even started playing. Especially when it's like... political stuff. A lot of JRPGs seem to do this thing where they say a bunch of words at you which ultimately culminates in them sounding like a French person beat-boxing / scatting. "The Empire of Bamf-de-Bamf invaded the realm of Scoobily-Doobily. And enslaved the people of Blum. The Republic of Ponce went to war with the Empire of Bamf-de-Bamf with many lives lost on both sides. So the treatise of Bamf-de-Ponce-de-Bamf-de-Scoobily-Doobily..."
Games alright, though. First proper boss you fight is called Balseph. And it's pronounced Ball-seph. And everyone keeps saying it which had me in fits of giggles. So... 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Anywho - That's enough rambling. Thanks, as always, for your support. And I'll see ya in the next Early Access post.
