Early Access - Chapter Seven (& Six Again)

Hey peeps,

It's been a busy couple of weeks. Hiru has managed to put up a vid every weekday in April so far. So that whole things been a success. There should be 20 vids overall (by the end of this week) and of those 20... I edited 8. Which is more than I did for him in like... the entirety of last year. lol. Even with the formulaic approach that I took with them (for efficiency!) - I'm still kinda glad that my part is over. He's probably still working his ass off but at least my parts done. lol.
But now we can crack on with the Rise of the Horde series.
In other news - I watched Mortal Kombat the other day. Probably shouldn't admit that considering there isn't actually a legal way to do that in the UK currently. Never been that into the games personally but you can't help but get excited about the prospect of a Video Game Movie finally breaking the mould and being good.
…That didn't end up happening though. Cos it's not all that good. lol. It's alright. It's a perfectly OK movie. Nothing special. Much better than that Nic Cage Jiu Jitsu film that came out recently. That was utter shite. Not even in a... 'its so bad, its good' kinda way. Just utter shite. You know when you watch a movie and can immediately tell it was written by stunt men?
It's funny cos I know a few people who are always like... "Why do they put boring, talky scenes in action films. Just bloody do the explosions and the fighting".
Well... watch Jiu Jitsu. And then you'll find out why things like dialogue and an actual story are important. Because watching someone kick a guy for 15 minutes in a field gets real boring, real fast when you realise you have no idea why he's even kicking the guy in the first place.
