Early Access - Chapter Twenty

Hello,

Short and sweet episode again.  At least it sheds a bit more light on Apari's past though.  Sometimes these short chapters can feel a bit filler-ish.  Like those episodes of 'Friends' where they'd all sit round a table and discuss previous episodes of 'Friends'.  

In other news - I'm kinda excited for WandaVision starting on Friday.  Big MCU fan here.  The title is poo and the show looks kinda weird but... I'm holding out hope that it leans more into a House of M arc and less into the 1950s sitcom trope stuff.  Cos... idgaf about shows like Bewitched.

What else is there to talk about...?  Oh... has anyone watched WW84?  It's... odd.  There's a bit near the start where she's swinging around on her lasso for no reason (for about 10 minutes)... but I swear the first proper action scene happens around the 1 hour 20 mark.  That's a long time to wait for the superhero to start superhero-ing.  

I know I probably sound like I'm a full on Marvel fanboy.  But I like both DC and Marvel.  Cos i'm not a child.  I actually prefer the DC characters if I'm completely honest but the movies have just been utter shite.  It's disappointing.  So much potential and yet there seems to be this fundamental lack of understanding about the characters themselves.  Superman doesn't grimace and get all pissy about how everyone's being mean to him.  Batman doesn't bloody murder people.  Barry Allen Flash isn't a moron.  And I swear... they've now made two Wonder Woman movies... where Steve Trevor is the one that does the most heroic thing.  What's that about?  

Anyway - This is probably a pretty boring read for anyone that doesn't like superheroes.  lol.

Just a heads up... there may be a bit of a delay on the next Early Access post.  I'm falling behind because we've gone back into lockdown so there's less opportunities for me to get recording done and stuff.  Cos there's always someone in the bloody house and I still struggle with that.  It's a confidence thing.  I will continue to try and keep on top of things but there's inevitably going to be another break soon just so I can catch up.
