Alright Mates!
Ok, I'm back now. Here's the video that will be going up on New Years Eve for you lovely people to watch two days early.
I'm not sure if YouTube is having a bit of a breakdown at the moment. About a week ago... i saw a little bump in subs (We very nearly reached 2200 which is a personal best). And since that rarely happens outside of getting a shoutout... I decided to take it with a pinch of salt. Lo and Behold... since then... it's gradually just dropped back down again.
To be honest it just amuses me at this point. I used to take it to heart but it happens so often, that nowadays i'm like "Oh well... Easy come, easy go".
But if there were some peeps out there that genuinely unsubscribed because I took the week of Christmas off then... i'm not sad they're gone. Especially since I already mentioned in a text post on YT that there was a bit of a family emergency over the Holidays.
Anyway... since this is the last Early Access post of the year... I should probably give a bit of insight into what the plan is for next year...
- I've been listening to Hiru's podcast and he regularly talks about his experience with YT and stuff. As much as I have wanted to believe that there's more than one way to be successful and that you don't have to follow the 'YT Formula'... it's not really working for me is it. lol. So... I think what i'm going to have to do is find a way to poke fun at things like Clickbait... whilst also actually utilising Clickbait lol. And probably start doing Top 10 vids too!
- I'm still holding out hope that MadAgs will be available to assist with bringing the zone vids back. That's a conversation that still needs to take place before I can officially confirm anything. One thing I will be putting forward in that conversation is that those vids will need to be at least 10 mins long. The channel needs longer videos cos otherwise the Algorithm is just going to continue ignoring me.
- I probably say this every year (and not just for the sake of the channel) but I really need to try and be a bit more sociable this year. As much as I hate social media... I probably need to be more active on Twitter. And more chatty on my own discord. And more engaging with other WoWTubers and Community Figures. A social butterfly! I know it's weird for some people out there to understand how and why an introvert with social anxiety would choose to be a content creator. I can't explain it. But what I will say is... If i was secretly an attention-seeking asshole that just pretends to have those issues... 1.) I should win a bloody Oscar for my performance and 2.) surely I would make videos where my face was front and centre so I could try and become as famous and recognisable as possible.
So that got weird at the end there. Oh well.
