Hey folks,
As per usual; I kinda did carry on working on this new episode throughout my little break. Albeit at a more leisurely pace. So, as a result, it's finished already. And the script is written for Episode 14 as well so... breaks over, I guess.
Tbf - assuming The War Within beta is, in fact, coming at some point today; I'm kinda glad that I'm somewhat ahead of myself 'work-wise'. And then Dawntrail is coming June 28th as well (for people who pre-ordered) so I'm excited to have things to play soon.
Don't worry though; I am fairly disciplined when it comes to WORK BEFORE PLAY so I'm not gonna fall behind and need another break in less than a month lol. I'm hoping to just power through now and get this series finished within a reasonable timeframe.
In other news; I will be doing Chronicle Vol. 4 as the next project. And then potentially remaking Chronicle Vol 1 to 3 afterwards.
I regularly get asked if there will ever be a SuperCut for those early vjds. The reason there isn't one is because I didn't realise (when I made them) that people would want to watch long-form videos. I genuinely thought it was better to keep vids short and sweet. So I didn't keep the files when a video was done. I had limited harddrive space back then as well.
But also - By the time I've finished editing a video, it's kinda dead to me lol. So I haven't watched those Chronicle videos since I made them. And in my head... they're cringey af. now. So I don't particularly want to download all the episodes, cut them into a new video... and put that out there as a brand new thing. lol. Cos... let's face it; I think i'm a bit better now than I was back then. I had no idea what I was doing, severely lacked confidence and as a result felt the need to force jokes every 5 seconds that were probably 99.9% shit. And I think the story possibly got lost in some of those shit jokes as well.
So yeah - Gonna try to redo the Chronicle books. Assuming I haven't completely lost the ability to do that after adapting the novels for so long.
Anywho - Thanks, as always, for your support. Tis very much appreciated. And I'll see ya in the next Early Access post. I'll upload episodes pretty much as soon as they're ready but if we say 'Early Access will now be about a week before' then that gives me a little bit more leeway to keep on top of things.
