Hello Everybody and welcome back to weekly update.
This week wasn't as productive as I hoped, my computer was down for a few days with windows updates and today I spent the day doing my Thanksgiving shopping so didn't get as much work done as I could have. I did however finished a few animations and should be finished with the Beach party section in the next few days once I finish the final bit of the mini-game for it.
One thing that I have to take into account in future updates is how much work animation is, as well as the size that it takes up. While I love animating things and I know that a lot of people enjoy that my games have that, it causes what could have been a month update to be going into three months. So I think in future updates I won't put as many animations in at once and will split them up. I still want to keep adding animations but I need to be realistic with them, one concession I decided to make this update was that in the Dance party event I had planned a dancing crowd shot, but that would have meant not only animating but also creating personas for the crowd to be animated, so I decided that my time would better be served creating a non-animated crowd shot and focus on the stage dancing and adding a bit more frames to it.
Well that was mainly boring game dev junk, at least it shows that I take more thought into Barkeeper than the GTA trilogy remaster. At the very least I own the copyright of all the junk I put out.
Alright gonna stop taking potshots at take-two and rockstar and tell you all that I will see you next weekly update.
