GET THE PIC + WIPS HERE

NOTICE: All the pictures in this link are of consenting adults performing in role play scenarios.
Scenes such as the ones portrayed herein should always be safe, sane and consensual. And fun for everyone involved!  :)

Here's some WiP pictures of this! As you can see here with the first sketch, her head was looking really wonky! I'd always planned for her to have her dress, but in this first sketch I just wanted to get a bit of her body shape down. Ended up changing a bunch of it though...

Still didn't change her head though, in the 2nd (red) sketch. Used references for the pods, and I think the descision to have the far back pod's arms up made the composition of the picture better. As you can see, I changed her body a bit from the initial sketch. Mostly just pushing her leg up and forward to show her walking a bit more clearly. The dress bunching up around the ropes ened up making her shape a little harder to read too, but I'm OK with that.

Here's the lines where her bust changed a bit. I'e also fixed her face finally! As this is how the lines looked after they were integrated with the coloring, you can see that I've lightened the lines of the farthest pod to blend it into the background more. Also tried my hand at braided rope. Lots of extra lines to draw! :D

I did the lines in a pencil brush. I vary which brushes I use for lineart depending on the picture, and in this one I liked the idea of having a brush that had a bit more of a rough edge, to increase the textured feel.

This WiP picture below is how the picture was left for ages before I finally finished it. As you can see, this is before I changed her breast size, among a few other things. She looked a bit more grumpy at the situation initially... I also added some more dress parts behind her butt, to balance the picture better.

You can also see my first try at doing her dress real shiny. I ended up re-thinking that for the final piece to fit more with her canon look. You can also see my initial color idea for the legs. It was going to be a lot more simple and cell-shaded than how it turned out in the end.
