WHOA - almost forgot to upload the timelapse today, but here we are! Nothing changed toooo much from the initial sketch to the final result - I think there were some dialogue swaps (Mona's, from "Claiming you! Marking your body! Defiling your deepest depths!" but I thought maybe that might've been laying it on a little too thick lmao)
Surprisingly, not a whole lot of backlash about portraying nuns in my adult comic! I know some people take that kind of thing VERY seriously, but dang it, I just think they're neat! I love the "holy" aesthetic, so I always end up going Cleric in most games I play. In any case, I meant what I said about not stepping on any toes, because you never know! I once sent my friend The Shoebody Bop because I thought it was funny, but he was actually offended because of "the portrayal of baptism" 😐 Go figure.

What's this?! She's a NURSE? Coulda fooled me - it's been awhile since the last time we actually saw them at the hospital lol (except the Mona doodle comic, I suppose). But I'm legally obliged to draw the nurses as, well, nurses every once in awhile or government agents will smash through my window and confiscate my "Doctor" title.
And speaking of "awhile since the last time we saw", it's Veronica's cat: Remi! Infamous for sleeping, background cameos, and going "?" in almost every panel he appears in. Truth be told, I've had cats on my mind lately - I'm still not 100% sure if my heart is ready to adopt again, but there's also a part of me that knows it would be nice to have a furry little goober running around again :( But I'm also going through a huge move in December, so maybe not?? BLEGHHJSDJ, I'll figure it out in time.

I wish I had more updates to give on the Mona plushie, but I haven't heard back from them yet regarding the 2nd prototype. I'm hoping the list of changes I submitted weren't TOO intense? There were some body-proportion changes at the top of the list, but I also included some... negligible tweaks:
Lol don't judge me! The rest of the changes were far more important, I swear! In all honesty, I think one of the reasons I haven't heard back yet is because Twitter (I refuse to call it X) recently was having trouble with their Messaging system. Often times, I'd receive the "New DM" notification, but when I check, there's nothing there. It hasn't happened in the last few days though, so hoping that's over with.
