history

Puerairia mirifica is a plant found in Thailand. Use of the plant dates back to to the 13th century; historically it's been used as a rejuvenating herb that promoted youthfulness in men and women. It's use is still prevalent in modern Thailand.

uses:

PM is a source of phytoestrogens; particularly a specific class of them known as Chromenes. These rival estrogen in terms of potency, and are often used in herbal hormone replacement therapies. It has shown promise in reducing menopausal symptons; however these studies are generally flawed. No major side effects are associated with PM outside of the same risks/benefits associated with estrogen replacement therapies.

how to take:

it's best to take for periods of 3-4 months, starting with smaller doses and working your way up. Don't mix with other phytoestrogen herbs as this can have additional side effects. Calcium may help with absorbtion. a progesterone cream massaged into the breasts has also anecdotally been stated to help.

personal experience:

I've used PM off and on since about 2014. When I found out about it on a NBE forum, it was touted as a wonder herb that was the secret piece everyone was missing. Did it work? It's a mixed result. I definitely believe it contributed to growth I've experienced. I remember that a week or two after I started taking it I was sore and felt very full. sensitivity was up and they were itchy, which generally seems to be a sign of growth. However, over subsequent uses I've not noticed this feeling return. This also could be a result of me personally, as I'm estrogen dominant, which makes the effects of estrogen's less effective on my body.
