NO DEMON - Story 4

The fourth story in the line of lore for Ramiel and the system, this one being a direct continuation of GENESIS. I wrote this comic because I felt like the connection between story 1 and story 2 was a little too loose, Genesis was cut right off during the original trip I finished creating Ramiel on and then dissipated before returning a few days afterwards to appear in a healed inner world in Story 2 (I'm realizing this would all sound very strange for non plural individuals, the inner world being the imagined space the alters exist in, with our sonas being our imagined forms that we use to represent ourselves. Dissipation is the death of an alter)

This story explains the very first sensations that a fully conscious Ramiel experienced during the trip before returning to sleep for the night. This one was a bit unsettling to write given its such a personal and abstract experience to depict, especially giving the fact that the tree and butterflies are essentially the shattered pieces of my ego, but it felt right as a sort of ending. It felt wrong to just leave Genesis on the ending that Ramiel was just in a void after myself as an alter dissipated, and I figured this was a sweet way to do it.

I don't have plans yet for a Story 5, I don't think I would ever feel the need to draw Riley congealing from the tree of butterflies and I don't have anything else I want to tell an audience yet, but maybe something will come to mind in the future to continue this sort of abstract autobiography
