So what's next and custom male NPC in the Paradise for long-time supporters

 Hi guys! Here is our scope of tasks for the next version, 0.32: 

So it’s mostly making civilian NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) for undercover missions, making several basic undercover missions, and a battle with Chapter 3 boss (Sora/The Kitty, she will be voiced by Ms. Moonified). I hope to implement custom controls and resolution selection for Settings, too (they removed it starting from Unity 2019.3, unfortunately). 

Also, it’s a good time to implement one old idea which I talked about before. I hope that it doesn’t break any TOS or something. To put a long story short, instead of coding and designing a generator of unique male NPCs, I want to make non-hostile civilians in Paradise more lively and I can use help from our long-time supporters! I guess we have at least 12 people eligible for this optional feature right now (Special Agents(10$ tier) will have a bonus option, please read until the end of this post). Consider this as an optional opportunity to have your custom non-hostile male NPC in the game! Our 2D artist made a set of generic male NPC parts that can be used for this: 

I’ll design some non-hostile characters using this preset by myself, too, but interacting with the community on this feature would be fun :)

This option is available until the 10th of May 2020.

Mandatory requirements for your optional custom fictional male NPC in the Paradise:

  1. You should have lifetime pledge of 60$ before 10th of May 2020;
  2. Corporation Z prohibits guns in Paradise because they want to have complete control of their employees, so your character can’t have a firearm, but he can have a knife/baseball bat/taser/etc. if you want or any other less-lethal or melee weapon. He can be unarmed, too;
  3. The design of the character shouldn’t belong to any other intellectual property owner (we don’t do Star Wars parody or etc.), also it should fit the general narrative of the game (being a medieval knight or a demon with a huge cock is cool, but it doesn’t fit the cyberpunk/sci-fi setting). Characters with cyberpunk/sci-fi clothing are the best options for this place, but try to use your original designs for it;
  4. All custom NPCs are 18+ years old, they are fictional and we don’t draw real people. By submitting your design you will accept that this character can be harmed in the game by the player (civilian NPCs are vulnerable in the game) and that the final design of this character in the game belongs to me to avoid legal issues.

Details required for custom male NPC design:

  1. Choose one of 3 available generic body types: regular, muscular, fat. Regular body type was displayed at the screenshot above;
  2. Specify desirable basic skin color or color multiplier of the character. I want to have at least Caucasian, African American and Asian color multipliers present for civilian NPCs in the Paradise, but if you want to have some other color multiplier (even completely fictional like blue or pink) - please provide pictures of cartoon characters with it and I’ll try to adjust the character to it. I encourage diversity in the game;
  3. Desirable costume details: Hat/T-Shirt/Trousers/etc., if you have some reference pictures for them, especially in cartoon form - it’s good, it will help me to design simplified versions of the clothing. Please remember that it will not be a 100% accurate copy of the reference picture, it will be modified for our simplified sprite style and it will not be remade twice. Using symbols of popular clothing brands (Nike, etc.) or political slogans is not okay, these symbols will not be present in the character’s outfit;
  4. Specify one of the character’s non-hostile activities in the Paradise: a) character is just idle standing on the street, or maybe smoking, drinking alcohol, looking at the cellphone, etc.; b) character is walking on the street from one place to another, maybe he does simple dancing or just sitting there, etc.
  5. There will be a couple or more interactions of our main girls with a group or single sex scenes with male civilian NPCs in the game, will you be ok if your fictional character can be selected to participate there or not? (Yes / No). If Yes, please provide a fictional name/surname of your fictional character for cutscenes, it can be useful. It shouldn’t be a popular name like Darth Vader or Justine Timberlake, use something unique.
  6. Furry characters don't belong to this game universe because these NPCs are humans with implants, but I can make artificially implanted metal tails/ears/etc if you want. It will fit the cyberpunk setting nicely, look at Sora’s portrait above in this post as an example.

If you belong to Special Agent (10$) tier and you have 60$ or more lifetime pledge before 10th of May 2020):

I remember about our Special Agents, so you have another option: your fictional male character will be put on the Veteran Agent List instead of Paradise (I’ll rename it into Veteran’s Hall).

  1. You should provide all previously required details, his fictional name/surname and some several key points of his fictional biography (is he a spy? Maybe he is a sniper or a hacker?) which I can use for creating his fictional biography and adopting his story to the job of the Agency. This fictional biography will be displayed along with the standing idle character in the Veteran’s Hall game scene. Also, you can choose one of the Agency firearms for your character if you want;
  2. Also, if you want, I can create one (only one) sex scene of your fictional male character with any of playable girls (Kira, Sigolla, Ming, Caron), or maybe even with two or more of them having sex at the same time. If you want to do this, please specify a desirable sex position/action (you can watch the animations gallery and choose one of the scenes to simplify this process, existing playable characters will be used for it, there will be no new 2D sprite views of the girls drawn for this). Please specify what girls will participate and how naked will be your fictional character and the girls (fully naked or with partially damaged armor, etc.). The sex scene will not be present in the general gallery, it will be only in Veteran’s Hall;
  3. You can specify some face details of your character like eye color, having a beard, or maybe a different haircut, glasses, etc. Please, don’t submit your photos from real life, describing all required details with written words will be enough for me.

We don’t have a custom male voiceover for civilian male NPCs for now, so one of three male voice types of male Thugs from the start of the game will be used for your character. Please, there is no need to submit your own voiceover for the guy, I can recommend some male NSFW voice actors if you want a good custom voiceover for your NPC, and you can commission them directly, thanks for understanding. I want to maintain quality in the game.

You can write all required details for your character in the short form via Private Messages on Patreon to me or in Discord in DMs. Please specify your nickname on Patreon or email used for the Patreon account so I’ll be able to quickly check your eligibility for this option. I’ll send a screenshot or video with your custom NPC to you when he will be ready even before the release of the new game version.
