Hollow Knight: The Sealed Vessel 🔍🦋
In the spirit of Halloween, embark on a journey to uncover the deep lore of the Hollow Knight, a Vessel chosen by the Pale King to seal away the Radiance and save the once-thriving kingdom of Hallownest from the devastating Infection. Born of the King and Queen of Hallownest, the Hollow Knight, like their siblings, was birthed in the Abyss to be infused with the power of the Void. As such, they exist beyond the confines of gender.
Originally intended to be void of mind, will, and voice, the Hollow Knight's purity was tainted by an idea instilled and a strong bond with the Pale King who raised them. Regardless of these impurities, the Hollow Knight was trained and raised to become a fully grown Vessel. The Radiance was sealed within them, and they were imprisoned within the Temple of the Black Egg, tasked with containing the Infection for eternity.
However, due to their impurities, the Radiance's influence endured, resulting in the resurgence of the Infection and the kingdom's fall into ruin.
The Hollow Knight's tale gradually faded from the collective memory of the fallen Kingdom, leaving only the Memorial in the heart of the City of Tears as a testament to their sacrifice to save Hallownest.
