Ben woke up feeling well rested. He yawned and stretched. He hadn't slept this well in ages. It was like he was sleeping on a clout. And then he looked around and saw why.
"Holy mother of... I'm in the sky!" Ben thought he was falling at first, but it only took a few moments for his senses to return to him and he remembered what happened when he got home.
"No... there's no way this is real... It couldn't be..."
But it was. Ben was in a cloud crib overlooking Love a Bunch from above the main square, floating in front of Love a Bunch castle. He floated just high enough to make climbing out a daunting task. So instead, he did the most humiliating thing possible. He grabbed the bars and called for help.
"Whoa there," said crossing guard bear. He waved the crib down. Ben looked around sheepishly, seeing as he was in nothing but his diaper. Where had his clothes gone? As childish as the clothes he had been given looked, it was better than being in just a diaper in front of everyone.
"Alright, come on out, partner," said Crossing Guard Bear, lowering the crib rails. "Don't be shy. It' s okay!"
"Easy for you to say!" said Ben, blushing fiercely and covering his front. "I've got nothing on but a diaper!"
"That's what everyone in Love a Bunch wears! Just a diaper!" said Crossing guard, chuckling as if it was the most sensible thing in the world.
"Nuh-uh! You're wearing a crossing guard sash! And a hat!"
The crossing guard took off his hat and scratched his head with a fluffy paw.
"Well, ya got me there!" he said, laughing. "Oh! I, uh, think you need a change, bud. I'll call someone to get you."
Ben had been smiling as he felt relief and a warm trickle between his legs. It wasn't until the guard bear mentioned something that he realized he was wetting himself. In fact, he had been wetting himself a lot, he realized as he looked down between his legs in horror. His diaper was swollen and very yellow.
"Better drink some more water there, kiddo," said the crossing guard, shaking his head with his hands on his hips.
"Will do, friend," said Softheart, walking up and picking Ben up under the legs and back.
"Whoat" yelled Ben as he was suddenly on his back being carried by the big bear. "When did you get so big?"
"I'm not big, buddy. You're just small. A cute little tyke! And now you don't have to worry about big boy things anymore distracting you from having fun time with your friends!"
"Is that what you- mmmph!!" the dawn of realiation came into Ben's eyes, but by the time he knew what the bears were up to, it was too late to say anything. His mouth was plugged up with a big pacifier and he was already being carried off to the nursery again.
"That's the problem with cloud cribs," Smart Bear was saying as they walked in. "Yes, the furniture fits with the theme, but it's not practical.
"Well, what do you want me to do?" furniture bear asked. "We dont' exactly have trees up here in the clouds with which to build a wooden crib... oh hi Ben! Hi Softheart!"
"I brought the baby back," said Softheart, smiling softly.
"And thank goodness for that," said Smart-Bear. "You had us worried there, kiddo!"
"I'm 30 years old!" Ben wanted to say, but instead it came put "Mmmm mmm mmphhh!"
"Aww, they're so cute when they're little," said Smart bear, accepting the fussy Ben from Softheard and cradling him in his own arms. He smiled softly down at Ben, their first owner. They loved Ben more than anyone in the world, and they were sure he would be very happy with them, though for some reason he was being very fussy.
"Hm... He seems upset... I know! He must need a change!"
"Yeah!" said Baby bear, running over with an extra thick and puffy diaper for Ben. "Nothing cheers me up like a fresh diaper!"
Ben's eyes bugged out as he spotted the giant changing table they were walking him over to. He was on his back while all his bear friends cooed and commented. Talk about embarrassing.
"He's got much too much hair down there! We'll have to take care of that."
"On it!" said Smartbear, who dialed a few commands into the panel of buttons on his wrist-watch. Ben was shocked as his hair dissolved away, seemingly zapped out of mid air from nothing. Smart bear caught wind of Ben's reaction and smiled. "Hologram technology can build but it can also destroy. I told it to make your body hair go bye-bye - right down to the follicles! No more pesky big boy hair ever again!"
Ben practically choked on his pacifier as just like that he was completely emasculated. He looked down at his own bits, now looking completely strange to him with no hair. They were totally bald, and he wasn't used to seeing that.
"Off with the old, and on with the new!" said Softheart, balling up the old diaper and passing it off to Baby bear while accepting the new fresh and fluffy Love a Bunch diaper. "These are the hottest thing in stores right now!" he said to Ben with a wink. Ben was totally flabbergasted.
"Oh, he doesn't know yet," said Showtime Bear. "Show him, big screen!"
Suddenly, a large TV on the wall lit up and a commercial came on for the Love a Bunch.
"Hey, kids! Remember the love a bunch?" came the announcer's voice.
"Do we!" said three adults dressed in childish attire.
"Well, they'r back, and they're better than ever! Watch them go on their new adventures with their old friend Ben."
Ben gawked as he watched himself waddling around after the bears. This looked like it was from earlier before he got on his flight. Had they recorded the whole thing?
"And that's not all, folks! Now you can get your favorite Love a Bunch gear at the Love a Bunch Official Online Store!"
Diapers, bottles, overalls, and rainbow wristbands all flashed across the screen before flying out of their graphic boxes and right into the hands, mouths and waists of the three babified adults.
The screen then cut to a news feed showing a news report on the success of the revival Love a Bunch franchise.
"Sales are through the roof for Love-A-Bunch, those lovable bears from yesteryear that you may have forgotten, but whose faces have long adorned adorable tee shirts and greeting cards. Not only are people going gaga for the show, they're goo goo for the merchandise too!"
A man on the street was interviewed as he waddled out of the nearest Bullseye superstore.
"It's not just a fandom.. It's a lifestyle!" he proclaimed, standing there proudly with his legs apart, his Love-A-Bunch T-shirt on full display along with his big boy extra husky Love-A-Bunch diapers held up by rainbow suspenders.
"Well, you're uh, certainly getting in the spirit!" said the news reporter, doing his best to keep his composure on camera despite the man's silly appearance.
"Looking good out there," said the news anchor. "I must admit, I'm a big fan myself. I got the official pacifier!" He pulled out a pacifier with a smiling bear's face on it and popped it ih his mouth. "Mmmm mmmm mmm mmm... mmmng mmmfff."
He signed off and the newscast ended.
"You see? No need to be shy or embarrassed, Benny boy! It's totally normal to be a little boy who loves his paci, and his Teddy, and his diapers, and being an adorable baby with his bear friends all day!"
Ben was scandalized, but he still made grabby hands for Mr. Stuffles as Baby bear held the bear above him. He hugges his bear fiercely as Softheart put the finishing touches on his new diaper, picked him up off the changing table, and started bounching him softly.
"Mmm mmm mphhh!" he said, furrowing his brows.
"I think we'd better take the littel guy's pacifier out," said Smart Bear. "I t looks like he wants to say something!"
