"He what?!" Asked Rob’s dad, making a fist as Colt told the story of the asshole manager who made Robbie cry. Colt nodded, having gotten used to the reaction from each of Robbie's friends and family members as he told them.

"That’s right. A clear case of workplace abuse. Poor Robbie was a complete mess when he got home that day, and I don't want to think what would have happened to him if I hadn't checked in on him the next time..."

"Ooh that Brandon just makes my blood boil," said Mom. "I’m glad you were there to take care of our little Robbie, Colt."

"What do you mean?" asked Robbie's Dad, his brow furrowing as he sat forward in his seat. He looked like he was going to rip his cloth napkin in half.

"When I walked into the employee break room, the asshole manager had his hands on Robbie and he had taken off his belt. Whatever he had planned, it was over the moment I walked in the room, because I was not having it."

"He what?!" said Dad, standing up from his chair and slamming his hands on the table, and looking to Robbie from across the room. "Robbie! Why didn't you tell me about this guy? I ougtta go pop him one right now. You tell me where he lives."

"Don't worry," said Colt, raising his hands in supplication. "I took care of it. He's not going to hurt anyone again.  I made sure of that. Legally."

Robbie listened to this conversation from the kid's table, where he was sitting with Andy and Reina's kids. He felt so embarrassed sitting in the undersized seat with his sippy cup. Even the younger one didn't have to use a sippy cup anymore. He blushed as he took a sip from it.

"Hey," chimed in Roy, "I’ve got annoying coworker of my own! Think you could do something about him?"

Colt chuckled. "It doesn’t work like that I’m afraid."

"Well could you at least take care of my speeding ticket?"

"Roy!" Said Mom. "You cut that out. Colt doesn’t have time to take care of all your parking tickets."

"Oh, come on, It's only a few tickets a month. Why have a fast car if you're not gonna use it? Whaddya say, Colt? Be a pal?"

"Seems like maybe it's that immature attitude of yours that needs to be taken care of," said Dad. "Hey Colt, you think you could teach our Roy here how to be a responsible adult? That would probably help a lot more."

"Haha yeah, he probably could use a little big boy boot camp," said Andy with a smirk.

Roy blushed at that, visibly squirming

"I’m happy to try," said Colt, cracking his knuckles. "We could start by putting the rabble rouser at the kiddie table."

"What?!" cried Roy, his face bright red now. Colt rubbed his chin.

"Yup, gotta start from scratch with this one. Don't worry, Roy. No shame in goin' back to square one like Robbie here. Unless you think you can be a grown up on your own..."

Roy just blushed and nodded.

"You can?"

"Yeah," Roy squeaked, looking like he wanted to sink down into the floor at that moment.

"Shame," said Colt, shaking his head. "I'm sure Robbie would love to have a little brother."

"Atta boy," said Dad, giving Roy an approving nod before turning back to Colt. "I gotta say, you sure know how to handle misbehaving boys. Nobody has ever gotten Roy to eat his humble pie, not even aunt Rosie."

"Kids a nightmare to babysit," said aunt Rosie shaking her head and chuckling

"Was a nightmare," corrected Roy.

"Well we’ll see about that," said Colt with a grin. "You just send him my way next time he gets in trouble and I'll set him straight."

"Will do," said Rosie and Dad in Unison, looking back at Roy with mischievous grins.

Rob giggled at his brother's blushy protests, knowing just how he felt. Colt was a master at making guys feel tiny, it seemed. Even his indomitable big brother Roy.
