Pt. 1 (Ch 1-6) Pt. 6.1

There was a knock on the door. Nick and Finnick swiveled their ears to hear Judy muttering to herself from the other side of the door.

"I sure hope this is the right place... Come to think of it... I did see a directory in the lobby..."

"Oh... great...," said Nick, throwing his hands up in the air. "She's checking up on us again. Hurry up and get your toot toot suit on! Chop chop."

"Oh, no, Nick! You didn't tell her where we lived, did you?"

"H-hey, look. I'm sorry, okay? I just got roped into this thing. And..."

The knocking returned, this time more insistent. Nick whispered to Finnick, a look of desperation creeping into his features. "Look, man, that bunny has me by the balls... Just play along for a little while, won't ya?"

"Yeah, yeah, You're still playin patsy to that cop. I get it,"  said Finnick gruffly, padding over to his room. He called out to Nick as he shucked on his pajamas. "Heh, it's really funny, you know? I mean, I never pegged you as a cop bunny's bitch."

"Oh, come on, Finnick. That's not fair..."

"Better answer that door, bunny bitch. She's about to leave."

"Oh, crap," said Nick, running over to open the door. "Heyyyy, Judy! Come on in," said Nick. "I was just putting the baby to bed... uh, isn't that right, Toot Toot? Finnick stepped out of his room and blew his trunk.

"Tooooot!"

"Isn't he just precious?" asked Nick, picking up Finnick and smiling.

"Now, aren't you two just as pretty as a picture?" asked Judy. "...Are you sure you two aren't a thing?"

Finnick's jaw dropped, as did Nick's, though his firey fur hid his blush better. "Now, how could you say that, Judy? You'll corrupt the little one's mind with such talk!"

"Yeah, sure," said Judy. Why don't the two of you go on and do whatever it was you were about to do. I'll just... eh," she looked around, "Make myself at home. Nice place by the way!"

"Uh, th-thanks," muttered Finnick as Nick carried him away. As soon as they were at Finnick's door, Nick whispered,

"Sorry, toot. She just wanted to come over and, uh, make sure things were on the up and up. We won't be long..."

"Yeah, sure, whatever," said Finnick. "I'll keep myself busy..."

"Yeah, try not to jack off too much," said Nick, "you'll go blind."

"Aww, shut up," said Finnick, fake punching nick in the thigh. "Later."

It might have looked more convincing if Nick had tucked Finnick in, but the little foxie still hadn't let Nick see his room yet. Nick straightened himself up, messed with his headfur a bit, and then came back out to the living room couch/bed, where Judy was waiting.

"Uh, so where were we?"

"I don't know, we haven't even begun," said Judy, blinking. "Maybe you were about to tell me about you and Finn-"

"Oh! Where are my manners? Can I get you something to drink? Perhaps a glass of shut up, juice? I mean carrot juice?"

Judy crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. "Yeah. Carrot juice, if you've got it."

To her surprise, Nick had in fact gotten carrot juice and he presented her with a tall glass of it.

"Don't tell me you drink this stuff," said Judy, laughing lightly behind her paw.

"Me? Yuk! No." Nick stuck his tongue out and made a face. "Let's just say I prepared for this eventuality. Slick Nick is always prepared."

"Aww, that's sweet," said Judy with a lopsided grin. "You mean you got this just for lil' ol me? I'm impressed."

"Aw, shucks, carrots, I," Nick looked over to the door. "You better not be listening in you little squirt!"

"Aww, don't be like that, Nicky," said Judy, giggling. "Finnick, if you can hear us, you're welcome to come hang out. I promise I don't bite."

"No thanks," came Finnick's voice through the wall. "I don't hang out with cops."

Nick laughed nervously. "Ahh, he's just a little shy around new people is all."

"Shy is one way to put it," said Judy, raising an eyebrow. "Shy with a mouth like a sailor."

"Damn right," called Finnick.

"Whatever, why don't we watch something?" asked Nick.

"Sure, we can do that. But first, why don't we just... talk a bit," said Judy. "I wanna hear about how things are with you lately. You got your new place... It's practically all you've talked about lately. How about the grand tour?"

"Ah, well gee, I..." Nick straightened his tie and sat up a little taller. "Why, I'd be delighted, m'lady." He stood up tall and offered Judy his arm. She knocked back the glass of carrot juice and linked arms with him.

"Oh my, what a gentleman!"

Nick led judy about five paces toward the door.

"If you'll look this way we are in the sitting room, and here at the far end we have the kitchen, here down at the end of the hall..." Nick led judy about 10 paces away from the door and the kitchen, "We have the commode for all your freshening up needs..."

"Oh, you're apartment is so big compared to mine," said Judy, clearly being sincere since she lived in such a tiny place herself.

"But that's not the best part," said Nick, taking Judy's hand and leading her back to the couch, "for you see, right here..." He pressed a button and the couch flattened out, "We have... the boudoir..."

Judy looked at Nick and smirked. "I thought you'd never get to it. Why don't you show me some entertainment boudoir-style?"

Nick grinned and loosened his tie. "Well, I can never say no to a lady..."

Judy opened a drawer next to Nick's couch/bed. "Do you have any con...dom... what's this?"

Nick's jaw dropped and his face went practically gray as he saw what she held in her hand. It  was one of Finnick's diapers...
