I'm currently writing Eeyok's epilogue.
The way I always worked is that the route endings would merge together at the end. This made for a very long epilogue (usually around 10k words).
However, Eeyok's different endings lead to two entirely different outcomes. I can merge them together of course, but I was wondering if people wouldn't mind if I simply had two wildly different epilogues. For example, the innocent epilogue would deal with a time skip of several years, whilst the passionate one would have a time skip of only a few months from the previous chapter.
However, this does mean that the epilogue will feel 'shorter' compared to the other ones (let's say each ending is about 5k words).
So I'm asking Patreons; what would you rather have? Two different endings that never merge that's slightly shorter than a regular epilogue, or a regular epilogue where the storylines merge?
