Getting back into the groove of things after my vacation! It actually took me a lot longer to get my creative gears to start working again than I anticipated. Drawing art is fine, my brain doesn't have to think when I draw. Writing on the other hand... well, that requires a peaceful and quiet time + motivation.

 
I'm also considering writing one ending fully first, before writing the other ending. I usually write both at the same time, chapter by chapter, but I admit that does split my attention somewhat, and it's possible I miss details that happen in one ending, that didn't happen in the other. So I think I'll try writing one ending before the other this time. As a player, you won't notice this as both endings will release at the same time :)

Quin Hayden
As you may have noticed... there's a new character in the menu! I didn't want to fully announce him yet until at least one chapter was written of his route. Quin Hayden is going to be written by another writer, Scriptress. I specifically approached this writer with the intention of getting them to write a story for Tailor Tales. Quin is her invention, so I'm hoping that passion for their character will transfer through and they'll see through the entire story! Quin is similar to Gray, though less flirty. If you enjoy suave men with white hair, Quin will make you swoon.

Why another love interest? Currently my next project, Moonstone Remix, is still pretty much on hiatus, basically waiting for my programmer to be able to give me a working version of the game that I can use to start coding in actual lines of dialogue. Due to his health issues however, the timeline for that is unclear, so I want to continue working on Tailor Tales and add more love interests.

I have said that Patreons can vote for the next love interest, so why is Quin a new character? That's because he's being written by someone else, not me ;) If I were to write another route (after Zex), it'll be up for a vote! At that point, there will be so many side characters you can choose from.

Quin is currently being written by Scriptress. If at least 50% of the story is written, his chapters will start being coded into the game. When that will be, I'm not sure! But Scriptress will aim for one chapter written a month, so we'll see.

Meanwhile, after Eeyok's route, Zex's development will begin. I'm very excited for this route (I usually am with new routes, hah!), as I've done a lot of brainstorming to get a good feel of the story. I'll have to outline all the chapters still, but I've got a pretty good idea of where it's going. Zex's route will be a modern day setting with supernatural elements (much like James' was). It has one of my favourite tropes in it, but I won't spoil you with what that is. Either way, if you enjoy a hard-working man who is a little curt and strict, but very much cares for your safety, then you'll love Zex! His little brother, Calix, already shows up in Eeyok's route.
