Streetside Barbecue (Commission)

I'm sorry for neglecting Patreon this month-- I got really busy with stuff I can't really post about yet. I'll do my best to have lots more art to post here in June!

Here's a commission I finished up today, and a breakdown of how it went! I forgot to take screencaps of the painting process, but there's not much to how I paint. It's all on one layer and I kind of push color around until it looks okay. One day maybe I'll make a gif or a sped-up video, if there's interest!

meanwhile, here's the sketch for this picture (with some parts erased to make things less cluttered as I got into the inks):

and then I just layered some color into the inks, and threw an airbrush overlay layer over everything to add a bit of a glow.
