Ear Scritches (Animorphs)

one day I'll set aside some time to actually adapt a section from the books into semi professional-looking comic form instead of just doing a bunch of sketches...

but meanwhile, here are some sketches about how to be gentle with your fuzzy, long-eared alien friend. 

(And another sketch of Ax in profile-- I wanted to see how the way I draw him has shifted over time, which is "not very much". If the alien boy design ain't broke, don't fix it, I guess.)
