Mole Alien Girl - sketches and early sketches

I wanted to challenge myself to make up an ugly-cute creature instead of just cute like I usually draw, so I sketched up this alien girl! 

Her look is based off of different species of bats and moles, and her people live in enormous, eusocial underground communities. Her people are also mostly blind, so the projections on her face are special organs used for electrolocation: generating a weak electric field to help with navigation.
