On the last few days of an amazing road trip. It has been absolutely loaded with food, plenty of friends and family, and almost zero walking. 😅 I’m definitely feeing plumped up from all this.
Stopped in Hinton Alberta for the night before driving back home to Vancouver. I asked the little shrimp at the front desk where I could find some big eats in this town. He seemed to enjoy that and suggested a really fantastic steakhouse at the other end of town. I threw on a nice clean shirt (that definitely does not cover my belly anymore it would seem) and drove down to the spot. Waddled in, shook the floors when I sat, and then ordered the biggest slab of prime rib they had.
18oz of pure ‘berta beef plus sides, extra butter, a cocktail and dessert. I love living on the West Coast but it has nothing on Alberta’s beef game. I miss that part the most… and also my family of course. 😅 (I’m originally from Alberta).
Anyway, pics and vids here.
P.S. Look how teeny this dessert fork they brought me was! Made me feel like a giant, which is partially true at this point.
