[Announcement] Busty Beach Babes - Part 3

Hi everyone!

With the third and final part of Busty Beach Babes, we're finally doing justice to the plural in the title of the comic! ^^
Alice completes her transformation into a Busty Beach Babe™ at last, and - when she tries to steal the boys back from Sophia - a showdown between the two becomes inevitable...

Exactly how that plays out, we’ll find out next week, when the final part of Busty Beach Babes drops!
(There, I managed to sneak the title into every single sentence of the intro haha)

Lust & Lore – Part 3

But until then, as usual, let’s chat a bit about the previous release: Lust & Lore - Part 3!

Oh wow, are we really already at Part 3 of this series...? It honestly feels like I only just finished Part 1 a few days ago. But looking back at Part 1 now - which I still think is a pretty solid comic - I can definitely see how much things have changed since then, especially in terms of quality, and how far I've come. Not just with the images themselves, but also in terms of page layout and writing.

Speaking of which: Overall, I’m pretty happy with the story in Part 3 of Lust & Lore - the only thing that maybe bugs me a little is that the futanari part feels a bit rushed: everything just happens way too fast. I feel like the girl-on-girl action between Chloé and Alice could’ve used a few more pages, especially to make their interaction in the "real world" of the comics universe a bit more engaging.
That part of the story kind of fell victim to how this comic was planned out. I wanted the main focus to be on Alice’s transformation, and only have the two girls interact at the end - once they both have, let’s say, equally equipped bodies haha - partly because I didn’t know how well futanari content would go over with you, so I kept that aspect a bit more low-key.

I had hoped that releasing this comic would give me a better idea of whether you’re open to it or not, but... I have to admit I'm not really any wiser than before haha. The feedback in the comments (which made me super happy <3) was really positive, but the comic got a few less likes here on Patreon than the last couple releases, so I guess that puts us at a clear Maybe for futanari...?
(Just to be clear: I’m not like an Instagram influencer, desperate for likes. It’s just that - aside from the comments - likes are one of the few metrics I have to gauge how much you enjoyed a comic ^^)

So yeah, maybe we’ll give it another shot sometime in the future - I do have a few interesting ideas in mind I’d still like to try out. But don’t worry, dear fans of classic breast and ass expansion comics, the next few releases will definitely steer clear of all that ^^

But alright, enough about that - let’s talk about a few classic production challenges I had with this comic, starting with my absolute favorite topic: backgrounds! Don’t worry, I’ll keep it short this time and spare you my rambling about most of them. Just take a look at the backgrounds in a few of the sequences and imagine me proudly talking about how consistent the background is throughout them haha ^^

The only sequence I really want to highlight - because it was a real pain to get right - is the one where Alice is sitting on her desk chair drinking her own milk (pages 10–12). I already mentioned in a previous post how hard it is to keep the background consistent when the characters interact with it, and that was exactly the issue here again (since Alice is, well, sitting on her chair - yes, I know, this is the kind of deep analysis you read these posts for, haha). It didn’t turn out completely perfect - I could definitely point out a few spots where the background shifts a bit more than I’d like - but overall I’m pretty happy with it. Still, I’ll definitely try to iron out those last few kinks in future releases.

And while we’re on the topic of consistency... this comic had a ton of things that were a nightmare in that regard. Mainly Alice’s desk chair and her headphones. All because I wanted both to have a pink pattern on them - since I sort of wanted pink to be Alice’s theme. AAaarrgh, next time I’m just making everything black haha.
The chair didn’t turn out quite as well as I’d hoped - the pattern looks noticeably different on some pages, which really bugs me in hindsight and is something I definitely want to do better next time. But I’m fairly happy with how the headset turned out - it’s not perfect either, but good enough that it doesn’t jump out at you right away, I think.

And it looks like we’re circling back to futanari one last time, because there’s still a bit to say about the image generation side of things: it was waaaay harder than I expected. I assumed that - even if it’s not the most popular kink - it’s still well-known enough to show up in the training data fairly often. But Stable Diffusion really put up a fight when it came to, well... equipping the ladies ^^
In the end, it took three different LoRAs and a ton of trial and error to get the images to look the way I imagined (or at least somewhat close to that). But hey, I learned a lot, and if there is a next time, hopefully it’ll be smoother sailing.

Alright, that’s enough from me for today. I feel like these announcement posts have gotten way longer than they used to be - I really need to rein myself in a bit haha.
