Hi everyone!

Next week we’re kicking things off with a completely new comic series: Curves on Command.

We’ll be meeting Katja – a streamer who uses a special piece of software that lets her live viewers reshape her body via donations...

But I won’t spoil anything more just yet 🫢
You’ll have to wait for the release of the comic, which will hopefully be next weekend ^^

Busty Beach Babes – Part 2

And until then – as usual – here are some of my thoughts on the previous release: Busty Beach Babes – Part 2!

I have to admit, I’ve got a bit of mixed feelings about this one:

On the one hand, I’m really happy with the technical and visual execution of the comic. I think the images turned out really well, the pages are nicely illustrated, and I really like the beach setting in general (or rather, the bikinis haha).
I’m especially proud of the more complex scenes – previously something I only did for the cover art – that are now starting to make their way into the comics themselves.

Specifically, I’m talking about scenes like:

– Page 04, where our male side character (the lucky guy) ends up getting hit by Sophia’s massive boobage
– Page 14, where Alice sees him lying on the beach
– Page 15, the facesitting scene
– and Page 16, where Alice... um... I just realized the guy never actually got a name, so now I keep having to refer to him as “male character”... oh well – where she pushes the male character against her boobs ^^

These scenes took quite a bit of effort to create, which is why the comic took me a little longer to finish (+ it ended up being 24 pages, so a lot longer than usual ^^). But in the end, I’m glad I took the time, because I think those scenes give the comic more character and help it stand out from your typical AI-generated comics out there.
At some point I’ll definitely talk more about how I create those more elaborate scenes, but today I’ve already got enough planned for this post haha.
In any case, I feel like there’s still so much potential in this area, and I’ll definitely be adding scenes like that in future comics again.

Another new thing I tried in this comic was adding a few more stylistic touches while illustrating the pages – specifically, the little hearts floating around the characters or speech bubbles. (I’ve done that in a few earlier comics in isolated spots, but never as much as I did here.)
I’m still not 100% satisfied with it yet – on some pages they blend in really nicely, but on others they feel a little out of place or kind of like they were just slapped on. That’s definitely something I want to keep working on in the future, but overall I’m already pretty happy with how they turned out in this comic. With the hearts, the pages feel a lot more alive, at least to me – I don’t really know how to put it into better words haha. I just personally liked the pages way more after I added the hearts than before ^^

On the other hand, there is one aspect I’m not quite as happy with: the story, or rather, the writing. Part 1 of Busty Beach Babes was a remake of my very first comic, Breast Day at the Beach, so the story was kind of already set – I knew where it was going. Back then I had a few cool ideas for how to continue the story, which is why I decided to make it a series. But those ideas mostly start coming into play in Part 3 (the title Busty Beach Babes – notice the plural – might be a hint at what’s coming ^^).

Anyway, to get to where I want to go with the story, I also needed Alice to be in her busty form. But I didn’t just want to copy Sophia’s process again, so I gave Alice a little detour via belly expansion, as we’ve seen in this part.
Overall I’m happy with that too, but somehow the comic doesn’t feel like it really stands on its own – more like a filler that just has to connect Part 1 and the yet-to-come Part 3. It’s missing a bit of its own identity – I think that sums up best what bugs me a little about this comic.

At least that’s my personal impression – feel free to let me know what you thought about the story or the writing. I’m (unfortunately – or maybe luckily? haha) particularly good at talking myself down. But hey, I think it’s definitely not a bad thing to have high standards, and the story is definitely an area where I could have done better. Hopefully I’ll nail it again in the next comic ^^

Alright, that’s it from me for today. We’ll catch up again next week when the first part of Curves on Command drops!
Until then – take care!
