Hi everyone!

The first comic of the new year will be called Busty Beach Babes, and… well, I don’t really want to give away too much about this comic just yet. There’s something special about it, but I’ll only reveal what that is in the next announcement — I want to see if anyone guesses/notices it on their own. ^^

Unfortunately, I’ve caught a pretty nasty cold and spent the last few days bedridden, but I think I’m starting to feel a bit better today (or maybe it’s just the hundreds of pills I’ve been taking — it’s hard to say). Either way, I think I should still be able to finish the comic by the weekend.

Lust & Lore - Part 1

Alright, now let’s talk about Lust & Lore! I hope you won’t be upset with me if I keep this segment a bit shorter than usual this time — I really just want to crawl back into bed.

Man, I had so much fun working on this comic! I know the trope isn’t the most original and is almost a standard theme for many breast expansion comics, but it’s a trope I absolutely love, and I really wanted to create a comic around it myself!

The way I see it, there are two standout features in this comic:

1. The Character Creator and the “Cheat Master Deluxe Edition" (very original name, I know). But the name is actually a homage to a real program called “Cheat Engine.” I vividly remember playing around with it back in the day — during the Windows XP era — and trying out all sorts of crazy things in games. The program allowed you to change certain values that a game had stored in memory (like a player’s HP or the number of coins you had), and thus - as the name suggests - cheat. And in some games that had a character creator, you could even set various sliders (e.g. the one for bust size) to values that were outside the limits set by the developers. Ah, good times, haha.

But I digress… Creating all the graphics for this one was a ton of work. I’ve occasionally incorporated manually created (without AI) content into my comics before, but never as much as in this one. But from the feedback I've received, you seem to have liked it, so I might continue to play around with it in future comics ^^

2. The shifting art styles. I hope you noticed that the in-game scenes in this comic look different from the “real-life” scenes. The real-life scenes use my classic style: anime-inspired but with a bit more depth and shading for a very slight 3D effect. The in-game scenes, on the other hand, are more traditional anime style and look flatter (not the breasts though, haha). I’d love to hear how you feel about this art style compared to my usual one — though I have to admit, regardless of what you guys answer, it’s unlikely I’ll make a permanent switch to the flatter style in the long run.

I was a little worried that some people might not immediately realize the different art styles were meant to distinguish real-life from in-game scenes and instead think I was just lazy and didn’t bother maintaining a consistent style throughout the comic, haha. I hope that wasn't the case for any of you ^^

Alright, that’s all for today. I’m off to the pharmacy to stock up on a year’s supply of ibuprofen, and then it’s straight back to bed.
I’ll check back in with you over the weekend when I’ll (hopefully) be healthy again and Busty Beach Babes will be finished.

Until then, stay healthy and take care!
