In the next comic, we'll follow Lily, who wishes upon a shooting star to finally impress her crush - with unexpected consequences.

The comic will once again be created using SDXL and should be finished by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Udderly Unbelievable – Part 3

Despite my earlier announcement that I would create the entire comic with SD1.5, what actually emerged is more of a hybrid. I had almost finished the comic, but I was pretty unhappy with the first half, so I completely redid that part in SDXL. As a result, the first half was created with SDXL, while the second half was done with SD1.5.
I'm not entirely satisfied with this solution, as I think the difference between SD1.5 and SDXL is quite noticeable, but I believe I've made the best of the situation.

The biggest challenges in this comic were the cowbell and the horns/ears. It's incredibly difficult to maintain consistency with these elements (I didn't quite manage it every time), and I had to do a lot of post-processing, including editing in the cowbell afterwards for many images.
Additionally, a hose inflation part snuck in at the end - feel free to read the announcement about Liquid Limits if you want to know how this was achieved.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to talk about something else: Based on the number of likes here on Patreon (unfortunately, this is the only feedback I have to gauge how much you enjoyed the comics), it seems you didn't like this comic as much as the others.

I'm attributing this to the SDXL/SD1.5 issue and the fact that the SD1.5 part simply can't match the quality you've become accustomed to from my SDXL comics. However, if there was any other reason, please let me know. I can only improve if I receive your feedback!
I always look forward to your comments on what you liked and what I could do better. I don't always reply to comments, but I read every single one!

Ok, let's wrap it up for now - the next comic will be fully SDXL again and will hopefully meet the quality you've come to expect. Until then, take care and stay safe!
