Jess & Jo Grow (WIP)

I posted some of this to twitter, but some of the bits weren't in a state I was happy with.  They still aren't really, but you can see more of what I was shooting for.  I tend to want to do every image as its own panel rather than making an actual comic page because I can't see all that well, so I want the art to be big.  It's been a problem my whole life but as I age it's getting worse.  There's no rule that says I have to make my comics any particular way but people tend to look down on this style a bit more than a more polished page layout.  

I also haven't ever really done much like this with Jess or Jo.  My habit was always to kind of stick to certain characters but I'm breaking out of that boundary a bit more recently.  These two are already have an established lore I can use as a shorthand to draw from, which makes certain aspects of it easier.  I don't know if anyone cares about how I overthink these things but I'm compelled to explain myself regardless.  

Ideally this would have a lot more panels to show more of what I was thinking of but I tend to just make a basic framework to start with and work backwards and forwards as I think of things.  Usually I work in a super linear way so I guess it makes me swing hard the other way with other stuff.  

Like most things I'm not sure what the end goal for this is.  It's just another concept to come back to as I get bored with other things.
