As you all know bksaudio.com is where we host all of the story requests currently. We made an update post back in December about what is now happening with the site. Link HERE.
The Secret Tier has 2 story submissions and 10 votes per month.
We will now have two of our admin team keeping their eyes on the story request site and updating it more regularly (once a week). So that there are less scenarios where, for example, a submission that happens in early January, doesn't get approved until a few weeks later and then gets buried under newer submissions.
Now, I want to add an important caveat, because an idea is on there, does not mean it will get produced unfortunately.
The three primary things that factor into our decision to produce something are:
1) what gets the most votes/high number of votes
2) what we think we could do the best job with script/story wise and...
c) what the authors want to write as well. (We can't make authors do requests they're not feeling, that's how we get bad content that is rushed and lacks the passion needed)
Additional things to this include, if a VA is currently available and not tied down with many other projects, if we have produced similar things before etc.
In the past we've been hesitant to include a 'currently in production' from the requests because life stuff happens basically and can change the course of things, writers get sick, editors have children, disruptions happen. So we don't want people to be left disappointed but if you'd like a 'currently in production' from the requests site to be pinned on Patreon or something in the post where the link to all the audios are. Just let us know.
