root canal update

Hello friends, I went to the dentist today to do what I thought to be the mold for the crown.
Well, I was wrong. Today whe removed the temporary packing from the root canal, actually fixed the cavity and cleaned it all up, then she tried to prepare it for molding the crown.
The problem is that my cavity was a very mean one. She said I was really unlucky with the placement of it thanks to my wisdom tooth, because it ate the inside of my tooth while only making a little hole on the very bottom of the outside (which was hidden by my overgrown gum).
So it took long to notice it, and to fix root canal you have to file down the top of the tooth.
The walls of my teeth are absolutely perfect, but she still have to file them away to make the crown and make sure it stays, which is very upsetting.

She tried her best to preserve the most of my tooth as possible, but unfortunately I'll need a full crown.
It's ok though, at least we are fixing it. It could give me problems in the future, sure, but I'll just take care of my teeth and hope bad luck doesn't strike again.
Next appointment (friday 22nd) we'll finally mold the crown, then put it in and we should be done with this while saga.

To finish on a happy note: I bought protective gear and will start trying to rollerskate on stream very soon!!
