The Taste of Christmas Spirit

Making another big new pencil drawn work with horny alts and stuff in such a short period of time before Christmas is an impossible feat for me so I decided to do something quick and silly. Well, by quick I mean an artwork I worked on for almost two days non-stop but compared to how much effort and time goes in my pencil works it can be considered quick.

All I could do in order to get in time for Christmas with another thematic art is to make an artwork which won't have any alts and where the process takes less time than pencil shading. This way I resorted to my relatively new digital shading technique I used only in Astro the Something concept art and Birthday Suit Halloween artwork featuring three OCs of mine so far where the only pencil work is a simple line sketch and the rest is all done in Gimp. I love this technique for it resembling old-school airbrush art that was so popular in the 80-90s, especially in vinyl and video game cover art, magazines and so on, also it's easier to use even though it's a bit tricky as I don't have a drawing tablet and forced to do everything with a mouse. And it's simply a nice change of pace to have once in a while as my pencil drawings have pretty much the same style due to some technical aspects of the process no matter how much I try to vary it and give every piece a more individual vibe. This is one of the reasons I'm doing pixel art as well.

Just like Birthday Suit Halloween, this art has my characters dressing up fancy for the occasion, it's good to take a break from my exhibitionist obsession over full nudity and see my boys wearing something else other than just nothing for a variety. I thought such suits would fit them well, especially Zed dressed as an elf considering how short he is.

It turned out pretty vintage looking in a good way after playing with filters a bit but if you're curious to see a cleaner version then you can have it too. It's a bit more bland with more simple looking color choice but still has some childish charm to it.

I still want to make a more extreme part 2 of this idea with more massive shapes, maybe I manage to finish it before December 25. After this I'll return to standard pencil drawings again as I have an itch for some horny stuff that begs to be released as well.
