Hi Hi ✨
First time trying this format! Three quick, one-scene stories (unlike the tall ladies in them 😅). Went with something different - telling them through texts: a meeting chat, boys group chat, and customer support. Let me know if you have any ideas for future mini stories!
You know where to find them in your folders.

*Greg Miller:*
Hi both - can we confirm 2pm for the contract review?
*Megan Williams:*
Perfect timing. I'll book CR-3 👍
*Darla Chen:*
Actually, CR-3 is undergoing maintenance. CR-1 is free though!
*Megan Williams:*
CR-1 might be a bit snug for the presentation. How about the new meeting pod?
*Greg Miller:*
Works for me. Do you need me to bring anything?
*Darla Chen:*
I've got the contracts printed and your notes ready, Greg.
*Megan Williams:*
Great! Just finishing up some edits. Though Darla - could you make sure there's a proper chair this time? Last pod had those flimsy plastic ones 😅
*Darla Chen:*
No worries, I've already swapped it for one of the good ones 👍
*Greg Miller:*
Perfect! See you both at 2.
Wait - where did we leave the presentation clicker?
*Darla Chen:*
Top shelf of the storage cabinet. I'll grab it before the meeting!
*Greg Miller:*
Thanks Darla, you're a star 🙌
1:55 PM
*Megan Williams:*
Running 5 mins late - coffee machine queue is massive today!
*Greg Miller:*
No rush, still setting up here.
*Darla Chen:*
@Megan I got you your usual. Extra large, right?
*Megan Williams:*
Legend! Be there in 2 ☕
Greg straightened his tie as he entered the meeting pod, nodding appreciatively at the setup Darla had arranged. The presentation was already running on the screen, and three steaming cups of coffee sat on the polished table.
"Perfect timing," Darla said, patting her lap. Greg settled into his usual spot, adjusting slightly so he could reach his coffee. After years of working together, they had their routine down to an art.
Megan strode in moments later, her custom-tailored suit immaculate as always. "Sorry about the delay," she said, carefully maneuvering into her reinforced chair. She wrapped both hands around the massive coffee cup Darla had brought her, sighing contentedly at the first sip.
"Shall we dive in?" Greg asked, pulling up the first quarter's figures on his tablet. "The numbers are looking promising, especially in the new markets."
Megan leaned forward, her elbows resting on the table as she studied the screen. "I'm particularly interested in the Asia-Pacific expansion. Talk me through your strategy there."
"Of course," Greg nodded, gesturing to the relevant slides. When he couldn't quite reach to point at a specific chart, Darla smoothly lifted him a few inches higher, never breaking her focus on the presentation.
The meeting flowed naturally, with Megan asking pointed questions about market penetration while Darla took detailed notes on her tablet. When Greg needed to reference specific contracts, Darla efficiently retrieved them from her briefcase, handling the large documents with practiced ease.
"I think we can wrap this up," Megan said finally, draining the last of her coffee. "The proposal looks solid. Have your team send over the final revisions by Friday?"
"Absolutely," Greg confirmed, while Darla made a quick note in their shared calendar.
As they prepared to leave, Megan paused at the door. "Oh, and Darla? Thanks for the coffee. You're the only one who ever gets the size right."
Darla smiled, carefully setting Greg down as she stood. "Anytime. Same again next week?"
"Looking forward to it," Megan replied, ducking slightly out of habit as she left, though the doorway had plenty of clearance.
Greg gathered his materials, glancing at his watch. "Right, shall we head back to the office? I've got those contracts to review."
"Already pulled them up on the big screen," Darla said, following him out. Just another Tuesday at the office.

Flight AP-247 Complaint Resolution
Monday 16:45
*Customer Support:* Hello! I'm Emma. How can I help you today?
*James Mitchell:* Hi. I need to file a complaint about my flight AP-247 from this morning. 8-hour flight, absolutely dreadful experience.
*Customer Support:* I'm sorry to hear that, Mr. Mitchell. Could you provide more details about your experience?
*James Mitchell:* I was sandwiched between two passengers in row 24. Couldn't move the entire flight. Had to keep asking permission just to use the toilet.
*Customer Support:* I see you were seated in 24B, which is in our XXL section. Did you select this seat during booking?
*James Mitchell:* Yes, because it said "extra legroom"! Nowhere did it specify I'd be stuck between two women who took up half my space.
*Customer Support:* I apologize for the confusion, Mr. Mitchell. The XXL section is primarily designed for our taller passengers. While it does offer extra legroom, these seats are wider and reinforced for passenger comfort.
*James Mitchell:* Well, it was anything but comfortable for me.
Just had arms and shoulders in my space the whole time.
*Customer Support:* I understand your frustration. For future reference, we recommend male passengers book in our standard section, rows 1-15. These seats are designed for passengers under 7'0".
*James Mitchell:* Now you tell me 🙄
What about my flight back next week?
*Customer Support:* I'd be happy to help you change your return seat to the standard section, free of charge. Would you like me to check availability?
*James Mitchell:* Yes please.
*Customer Support:* I've moved you to 12C, aisle seat. As compensation for your inconvenience, I can offer you an extra 5kg luggage allowance for your return flight.
*James Mitchell:* 5kg? That's barely anything these days...
But fine. Whatever.
*Customer Support:* I understand it may seem modest, but it's our standard compensation package. Is there anything else I can help you with?
*James Mitchell:* No. Thanks.
Just please make the XXL thing clearer on your website.
*Customer Support:* Thank you for the feedback. We'll pass it to our UX team. Have a pleasant return flight, Mr. Mitchell.

James stared at his screen, wondering if he should mention how the drink cart barely made it down the aisle, or how the flight attendant had to bend almost double to serve drinks. But what was the point? He glanced at his boarding pass for next week's return flight - at least he'd be in the normal section this time.
His phone pinged with the compensation voucher. 5kg extra allowance. He couldn't help but think about the woman who'd sat next to him, how just her designer handbag probably weighed that much. Still, lesson learned - always read the seat designation fine print.
