Free will

Hi folks - first of all, thank you so much for supporting these comics. It's a huge motivator to keep me writing and drawing.

For the last few days I've been working on a comic based loosely around the concept of free will. It's been an ordeal! I've now redrawn the comic twice - I just couldn't find a visual metaphor that matched up with the writing. Above are a few early concepts that I've since abandoned. 

I've figured it out though - and will have this story up in a week or so, (I have a climate story to post in the meantime, that by comparison was incredibly easy to execute!). 

To be honest, the philosophy of free will never interested me much before; whether we have it or not seemed pretty irrelevant. However after reading Free Will by Sam Harris, I changed my mind, and discussions about the book's ethical ramifications led directly to this comic. I'm really looking forward to seeing whether people like it or not!
