I'm ALIVE! Yep, I'm alive! And we're here with Sylus once again!... It is obvious that I actually quite like and enjoy doing Sylus Audios? He's pretty classy and fun to do! Maybe it's just how he speaks that helps a lot with it, but y'know~
Anywho- So This Audio does feature a heavy focus on the KU-100! Pure Binaural Bliss once again! And this scene features you being blindfolded and teased, caressed, and more... Which is not as explicitly said... In hindsight, maybe a more direct mention early on would've been better, but I didn't want to get too spicy with the SFW part and it completely went over my head.
Yeah... I'll be honest, using the KU-100 is not as easy as using a normal Microphone. There's definitely a lot more things I have to be aware of and to constantly keep in mind... Like for example, in normal Audios, I can be a bit more lax with my position from the Microphone while with the KU-100 the angle, distance, volume, etc impact the recording a LOT more. With a Normal Microphone, I can also have some background noises and it'll be rejected by the microphone since it's cardioid pattern, but the KU-100 being... well... the KU-100, it picks up EVERYTHING.
The KU-100 also has no Pop-Filter, so I have to be pretty mindful of that. While it might not seem like much, it really does change the recording flow!... And it doesn't really even lower the amount of editing work needed as the SFX still need to be edited and polished, the overall volumes of the recording need to be tuned, and any imperfections removed!
Of course, the "Raw" recording of the KU-100 is definitely also much more useable immediately comparatively because it's already Binaural!... I'm just a bit of a perfectionist o -o

As far as the Audio goes, this one does focus on Sylus being the sly, flirty, and h*rny man that he is~... Yeah.
Now.. uh, more technical stuff... I did try to do two main things for this! One, is the climax SFX. Tried to do that in a different way! Specifically, tried to do more foley work instead of using Assets more. This should give it more variety and realism, at the expense of being harder to do.
The other thing that I wanted to do was try to dial in the non-Binaural KU-100 sound! Uh, specifically, so the KU-100 is a purely Binaural Microphone. There is no Mono setting. I did find a way to make it sound like the character is talking from in front of you, but even then- it's not exactly perfect. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as just talking in front of the KU-100 because even though the KU-100 mimics real anatomy and objectively speaking it does almost 1:1 record sounds how an average person hears it- it still feels... off?... It's a tad hard to explain- but long story short, our bodies calibrate how we hear sounds and where to locate the source based on each individual- any variation becomes easily noticeable.
o -o... yeah.
I think the only option now for me would really be playing with the EQ and Volume... and in this Audio, I did try to do some Volume work... I don't know, maybe I'm just too spoiled and used to the TLM-103 in terms of mono Audio that any difference bothers me. It's kind of like how if I change headphones or Audio Interfaces- I really feel something is off- even though things are really the same.
