This took a week to film, which put us on a deadline for the drop. We are now on schedule, with extra footage in the can, and are thankful for all of the support from y'all.
The story here is this was an African PH's protection weapon at the turn of the 20th century. The owner is Eric of IV8888, and I believe he is related to the original owner as I understand it. Eric runs his gear, so this had to be overhauled again to keep it in the fight.
The further we got into this thing, the more the sweater unraveled. Lots of wear and use, oil soaked wood, and less than stellar previous corrective maintenance. Not covered in the video is the fact that the top rib has to come ALL of the way off and be re-laid, and a feather spring fabricated for the triggers. We just flat ran out of time. There are 3 rib solder jobs in so we will collect that video at that time.
