Really, really warped stock and the steam bending rig

 Stalking rifle built on a 7mm Mauser action. The stock warp was so bad it split the barrel channel. We jig mounted and applied an uncomfortable amount of force to drag it back. Initially steam was applied with a wet towel and a brass bar heated with a torch. This level of involvement WILL destroy the existing finish, and you have to be ready for the refinish. Ultimately, this entire rig was put in a local boat builders steam box, and the problem was serviced with extreme prejudice.
