Monthly Report: June/July 2022

Hello everyone, andeh here! It's been a while since I said anything on Patreon post.
I just noticed a few dozens of messages on Patreon inbox too, I'm sorry if I haven't replied to any of them, and especially for the lack of update on Patreon. It's a slow month for After Class development because I've been super busy. But I'm proud of what I did.
There's going to be a lot in this post, so bear with me.

Monthly Report: June 2022 | Here's what we did during June 2022:
- Updated game to 0.9.20p and 0.9.20i:
Starting release-itch06102022, public builds will have the same build number as Patreon version. The only difference is the modifier that comes after the numbers.
Modifier "i" belongs to public version, while "p" belongs to Patreon version.
- Parker Day 9 Part 1 a.k.a P9-1:
This is the reason I'm making the monthly report. Due to major spoiler and plot, I can't put that many details here.
- Several typo, error, and bug fixes:
They are mostly in Lars' route, and some of them were also present in Parker's Day 9 Part 1. Expressions also have been added to Lars day 5 and partially day 6, more will come.
- Added new backgrounds:
We had a few in mind, but our background artists were occupied, so we were falling behind schedule and only managed to get one new background from Vui and one variation from Wyne.
- New outfit for MC:
We don't have that many opportunity to show the protagonist (also known as Walter), but thanks to the way P9-1 works, we decided to add a new outfit for him.
- Main routes improvements:
Some of the routes had abrupt end, inconsistent backgrounds, etc and this fixes it.
- Extra dialogues for Parker Day 2:
It's necessary to replay the route to trigger the variable, otherwise, you won't be able to trigger ???'s route later on.
- Side images:
I have added temporary side images for side and main characters. We have plans to actually make separate side images for all characters, but it's not high priority right now.
- UI adjustments:
It's mostly minor changes, such as alignment, return button, text color changes, etc.
- Music looping:
Some of the music have been looped. There are still a few that I haven't looped, I'll get to it sometime in future updates.
- Android adjustments:
The buttons have been moved and easier to navigate overall.
- File size reduction:
This one took me the longest time, but I sorta managed to trim the file size from 1.01GB to 745MB. There are a few hundreds of files to optimize and I'll try to do it from time to time.

Monthly Report: July 2022 | Here's what we did during July 2022:
- Updated game to 0.9.30p and (upcoming) 0.9.25i:
It's supposed to be 0.9.25p, I blame my sleep deprived brain. When polished version is out, it'll be changed to 0.9.25p. Public version (Episode Gil 1) will also be uploaded in a few days before August. Key access for non-July patrons have been revoked.
- Parker Day 9 Part 2 a.k.a P9-2:
This will cover the non-sick route during P8. There's a lot of things going on, so I hope you guys get your save slots ready, haha! We also have 3 CGs planned for this route, but due to Wolgen's health reason, we got none. We'll get to it after Wolgen's feeling better (also please don't ping him on the Discord server.)
- Parker Day 8 new variables added:
I recommend replaying the route from the start (I'm sorry) or else there will be a bunch of errors (not shown). You might also won't be able to trigger ???'s route if you didn't restart the route.
- Temporary side images and textbox adjustments:
I have added shirtless MC and Andrew's temporary side images. Some textbox accent colors also have been adjusted for Andrew and Wilfred.
- New map (placeholder) background:
I'm going to overhaul the map at some point, so I added placeholder background and changed the overall look of the map.
- New music tracks have been added:
It's pretty self-explanatory, I think. They also have been looped nicely.
- New backgrounds:
We managed to get two new background from Vui! Parker's office, and Parker's house exterior.

Some little things I have planned for August:
Currently, I'm debating whether to work on Mark's day 9 or Episode Parker 1. I'm not going to do polls because I know what the answer will be. So you can expect either M9 or PE1 next month.
I also haven't been updating patron list in-game, so I'll be doing that ASAP. I'm sorry if you were excited to see your name in-game but you didn't find any.
