Jaihko and Ida's dad. I've not really discussed him much since he wasn't meant to make an appearance in the comic for a veerryy long time. But there's a few things I've managed to weave in with Ida being older now, meaning he can appear sooner.

And he's cool. He's a Taelic sea witch and thanks to him, Ida worships the skygod Soot and Jaihko distrusts them in turn. He's taught his children how to man his small cargo boat that he sails between the shores of Fjoldi and Tael. Along with the magic that comes with that craft.
