I'm very happy to say I have met my minimum donation goal to get my External Drive restored! The entire $550 bill was too big a bite for me, but with $350+ in donations I was able to bring it down to something more manageable. It will still be a few days/weeks before I will get the restored drive back from the computer hospital, but it's a huge relief knowing I'm not gonna have to start over with all my art files/run around getting copies of those important personal docs.
If you were really hoping to be listed as a Savior By Moonlight in the Ch2 PDF, you can still get a spot by donating toward the stretch-goal ($550) on Ko-fi. (I also set up a Paypal donation link!).
I want to thank all the people who donated, especially my anonymous savior (you know who you are, thank you!!). I can't say how happy I am, not just that the situation is being comfortably resolved but also that I have such wonderful and generous people supporting me.
