So I finally heard back from the computer hospital, they said they can restore most of my external drive but it will cost $550! I'm currently unemployed so I cannot swing that. Right now my plan is to do a fundraising campaign and hopefully raise at least $350, but ideally the whole $550 cause... yeah--unemployed!
I was thinking I'll have a 'Saviors By Moonlight' page in the BM Ch2 PDF where I acknowledge the people who donate to save my external drive (this would be in addition to the 'special thanks to' page dedicated to my Patreon supporters)... so if any of you want to be double featured on both pages, consider donating to my External Drive Restoration Fund on Ko-fi.*
What does this mean for By Moonlight overall?
The comic will continue, but the Ch2 PDF will be delayed/possibly cancelled. I'd also planned to do a Ch1-3 omnibus PDF but that would definitely be cancelled if I can't recover the Ch1 files.
I'll be posting some of the fundraising campaign materials/links here so if you can't swing another donation on top of patronage maybe you could retweet/reblog one of my official posts.
tldr; My external drive is dead, donate here to revive him and get recognized in the Ch2 PDF as a 'Savior By Moonlight'!
