So listen, here's my scenario that made me like the Johnny/Rosita ship:  Rosita feelin the angst of her crumbling marriage (this could be during the struggling marriage or after a divorce depending on y'all's preferences) and Johnny is being a bro, drinking her troubles away with her.  He gets to convincing her that she's a catch and anyone would be happy to have her and then he puts his money where his mouth is and they have a weekend-long sex marathon that ends with them as best bros and low-key fuck buddies.
