Recent paintings!

I usually don’t paint.. a lot ? But lately I HAVE been. And honestly I kinda fuck with it now. I love digital art and the convenience of it, as well as being able to make copies of something, but traditional art has this cool merit of being a one of a kind thing, and I kinda like it.

This first one is actually inspired by a monet-inspired painting from one of those sip n paint classes. My mom and I were at a class and she saw this up on the wall as one of their future class examples, and she said ‘Hm, I want that, but bigger. So it can go above my bed.’

And Because I’m a mama’s boy, I took that as an order and found a 4’ x 2’ canvas. I’m hoping she’ll like it! Took about 3 hours

The second one is a painting for my girlfriend, Jazz. She saw my paint n sip class painting (this very pretty celestial painting) and said “that’s so pretty !!! Imagine something like that, but with Cali (her OC)” So… in the course of about an hour, while watching Midnight Gospel, I whipped that up for her.
