I rolled a joint tonight, my nails freshly painted deep red 💅🌿. The contrast made me grin – the polished and the playful, the neat and the messy all in one.

Lighting it felt like a ritual – slow, careful, deliberate – and I caught myself wondering how it would look from someone else’s perspective. The flick of the lighter, the first inhale, the way my lips wrapped around the paper… I’m sure there’s something about it that’s just as much art as it is habit.

The smoke curled up in soft waves, and I imagined leaning across to pass it, watching your eyes as you leaned closer. That tiny shared space between breaths, between exhales, where it feels like something more could happen if we just don’t look away.

Maybe that’s my favourite part – the pause before the next drag 🖤😏.
