There is definitely something very dark and very beautiful about the places I can go in my head when my movement is restricted. When my breathing is labored. When my ligaments start going numb. It’s a place where I choose to feel safe and protected. It’s a place where I can bask in the uncertainty of my situation and choose to have faith that everything will be okay. It’s a place where I can completely let go. 🖤
