In the arid, devilishly scorching desert of Oaxaca, a sneaky little earth fairy dances and sways upon a whispy, crispy mountainside flashing you all her most delectable goodies while bystanders watch eagerly heheh☀️❤️🔥🌶️
One of my favorite days in Mexico was spent visiting Hierve El Agua, which translated means “boiling water”. It’s a deceiving name since the water that boils up from the ground actually isn’t hot at all. It’s nice and cool natural spring water which is pleasantly welcomed due to the dry, toasty weather. It’s definitely a refreshing respite from the super intense sun.
There’s a hike up the side of the mountain that takes you to petrified waterfalls and expansive views which are a beautiful sight to see after swimming in the springs. It was pretty touristy but one of the coolest and bizarre nature anomalies I’ve ever witnessed.
