There’s something about a sunrise hike that is more magical than any other time of day✨🌅
Maybe it’s because you committed to waking up before the crack of dawn while still dark outside. Maybe it’s because most trails are void of fellow hikers and you get to enjoy nature in a more secluded manner. Maybe it’s the overwhelming sense of peace and calm at the beginning of a new day as all the wild animals begin to awaken. Maybe it’s because it’s symbolic of a fresh new start, and you remember you have the power to make the day as beautiful as the colors forming in the sky.
It’s probably a little bit of everything, but I know one thing’s for sure: flashing all my tender bits makes it alll the better!! I love the way the crisp air touches and titillates me. If it wasn’t 45 degrees out I would have stripped down completely and hiked the rest of the uphill portion naykeyyy.
That would have been interesting especially because right after this, I unexpectedly encountered the one and only fellow humans on this trail. I always wonder how they would react…
