THE BIG TATTOO REVEAL👁️✨

To be quite honest, I forgot I snapped these sneaky pics in Carlos’ tattoo studio and then I realized I never showed you my new tattoo, aka the main reason I travelled all the way to Oaxaca in the first place! 😅
For a bit of a back story, I had had this idea for a tattoo for nearly 10 years and was waiting for the perfect tattoo artist to reveal themselves to me. The moment I saw Carlos Bautista’s work on IG (@carlosbautistab) I knew he was the one.
The idea for this came to me during a sound bath/reiki experience as a vision that was psychedelic in nature. I didn’t know what it meant until after the session was over.
Ultimately this tattoo represents my highest self, my true nature, the essence that lives within the core of me, able to be accessed at any and all moments. It is the interconnectedness with nature and everything in the universe. To put it precisely lol
I am so happy with how it turned out and I feel like having this reminder close to my heart helps me move through my days with more ease and clarity.
The experience of getting the tattoo itself was incredible as well. A spiritual escapade with all events, people, location aligned with my intention. We travelled 3 hours into the mountains to a small town called San Jose del Pacifico. Carlos was such a rad dude with impeccable music taste, an infectious laugh and a grounding presence. His studio was soo vibey and comfy. And the friends I was there with (who also got tattoos from him the following days) made the experience so so special.
