So I ended up with 2ml HA lips as you wanted (most of you) 🙈
And now story time.
I came to the clinic in a hurry, in my horrible black t-shirt and sweatshirt ... the receptionist immediately sent me to the surgery room to wait.
After about two minutes, the owner of the clinic (quite a well-known person) appeared in the doorway and I was quite surprised. He asked how much I wanted to enlarge my lips and what my idea was ... I told him that I tried 4ml of saline and that it was quite a lot so I would like one or one and a half ... he looked very surprised "saline, and you did it yourself" ... I said yes it's not that complicated ... he was still quite surprised, then we discussed the possibilities of wrinkle reduction and so ... quite casually ...
Next, he wanted to see my Instagram ... to see how I see myself and what angles I take pictures from ... I was a little hesitant ... I said I didn't know if there wasn't something "inappropriate". And he said he's seen everything. I commented quietly that I'am not so sure ... he was looking at some of my photos, nothing surprised him.
When I was about to go lie down on that chair, he tells me I need to take off my sweatshirt, he insisted that it would definitely be better that way and I immediately thought in my mind ... "so now he gonna notice everything ... it will be questions". As I lay down he stared fixedly at my chest ... and it begins how this is happened? Who did this to you? Can I see them? I finally showed them to him, he seemed a bit perplexed, he said he had never seen anything like this before (so I was right). Many questions followed, like how, what ... followed by whether he could show it to his colleagues ... that they had certainly never seen it either, but he still reassure me that it looked perfect and he liked it very much. After presenting the monkey to his colleagues, who just stared in disbelief (I don't think they had ever seen such a freak there), he moved his eyes lower and noticed the crotch and a new series of questions began ... despite repeated urgings I refused to show those parts. During the continuous questioning he started injecting HA into my upper lip ... although it was supposed to be HA with lidocaine all the injections were quite painful until tears started flowing ... not that it hurt that bad, but it happened automatically ... which was quite unpleasant.
When I noticed that his syringe was almost all gone, I said "what about the bottom lip ?" He replayed "Well, that's big enough, it's not needed". At that point I knew we had misunderstood and I would have to pay double for another ml for the lower lip. After consulting with mirror I just confirmed it, waved my hand over the money and said "I definitely need the lower one too" ... so 2ml, double the price and frustration on my part. I should have written down everything I wanted to say what I wanted and how I wanted it.
Applying it to my bottom lip, another series of questions followed, I didn't answer them at all. A follow up look in the mirror and I was pleased to see that the shape and proportions were relatively ok, but the size was a bit large. I guess I wasn't very communicative after that, it was a bit much for me, I am after all more of an introvert.
The owner was very friendly, he repeatedly told me he is a big fan of bodymod and that it's amazing how I look ... he said to add him on IG and send him a picture maybe in a week etc ... or we can talk about other things. He was awesome, but a bit too much of an extrovert for me, or at least for a first meeting.
Then I just ran to the subway/bus ... luckily I didn't meet anyone I knew, people weren't looking too much, I guess. Now I'm a bit worried that everyone around me will notice...
Hopefully it will heal without any complications, it's pretty sore right now.
