just got a call from Poland, from my sister, informing me that my uncle died today. He went to shovel some snow at 6 am, fell, hit his head on the concrete and died. just like that. :( He and his wife helped me tremendously when I got kicked out of my foster home at 17 after my parents both died 2 years earlier. He'll always have a special place in my heart.
I'm devastated. Just kinda sitting here and trying to figure out how to move on. I can't even attend the funeral since Im thousands of miles away. I literally spoke to him 6 days ago and everything was great.
on top of that, this month has been so bad that I can't even really afford to take a day off..
